This is the only course in Japan where you can experience "Cycling Shimanami," an international cycling competition that allows you to ride on the main line of a highway that is still in service. Course Features

This course runs through the "Yumeshima Kaido" consisting of four islands: Iwagi Island, Ikinajima, Sashima, and Yugejima. The Yumeshima Kaido has no traffic lights or tunnels, and there is very little traffic, so cyclists can enjoy a stress-free ride. Mt. Sekizen, which rises 370 meters above sea level in the center of Iwaki Island, the goal point of the course, is decorated with more than 3,000 cherry trees in spring. Ride up to the top of the mountain and take in the 360-degree panoramic view from the Sekizen-san Observation Deck!

Course Features

This hill climb course runs up Mt. Kiro, located at the southern tip of Oshima Island in the central Seto Inland Sea. The goal is to reach the summit of Mt. Kirosan Observation Park, which is designated as Seto Inland Sea National Park and is located at an elevation of 307.8m. After completing the course, which has an elevation of 608 meters and a maximum gradient of 14.9%, a spectacular view of the world's first triple suspension bridge "Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge," the tidal currents of "Kurushima Kaikyo," one of the three steepest tides in Japan, and "Ishizuchi-san," the highest peak in western Japan await!
